IMG Support Overview

International medical graduates (IMGs) play a vital role in U.S. health care, comprising about 25% of the U.S. physician workforce. Understanding their contributions, enhancing their opportunities, and supporting these individuals as they complete graduate medical education in the United States and contribute to the health care system are critical aspects of our missions. FAIMER partners with other leaders in U.S. medical education to analyze data, develop policies, and create new tools for IMGs.
