Vani Dandolu, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A.
Dr. Dandolu is the Chair and Residency Program Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She received her M.P.H. from Johns Hopkins University and her M.B.A. from Fox School of Business. She has received several teaching awards including the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics and Gynecology (CREOG) Excellence in Teaching for Resident Education award three times, Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO) Excellence in Medical Student Teaching Award, and the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Mentor of the Year Award. She has over 60 peer reviewed publications in scientific journals.
Dr. Dandolu’s research interests include comparative effectiveness of alternate management strategies in urogynecology, gender disparities in cardiovascular health and relation to sex hormones, and biomechanics of pelvic organ prolapse. She has presented her research and clinical expertise at several national and international meetings to include the International Continence Society, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Urogynecologic Society, Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, Association of Professors in OB/GYN, and Society of Urodynamics Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction.
