The Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER), a member of Intealth, is excited to announce the launch of FAIMER Connect, an online community where FAIMER Fellows, faculty, and staff can stay connected, share information, and strengthen the FAIMER global community of practice.
FAIMER Connect is open to the more than 2,000 current and alumni Fellows of the International FAIMER Institute and the eleven current and former FAIMER Regional Institutes around the globe. In addition, the online community is open to institute faculty members, alumni of other FAIMER programs, members of FAIMER partner organizations, and FAIMER staff.
“We often hear from FAIMER Fellows that the relationships they establish with other Fellows, faculty, and FAIMER staff during their fellowships, and the collaborations that result from those relationships, are some of the most valuable and lasting benefits of the Institutes,” said Dr. Jeanette Mladenovic, President of FAIMER. “With the launch of FAIMER Connect, our goal is to take that global community of practice to the next level and create a larger, deeper, and more collaborative community to strengthen health professions education worldwide.”
