The 2014 application for the FAIMER-Keele Distance Learning program is expected to open in August 2013.
This new program, which launched in April 2013, offers health professions educators the opportunity to earn a Certificate, Diploma, or Master’s Degree in Health Professions Education: Accreditation and Assessment. The program is conducted in partnership with Keele University and the Centre for Medical Education in Context (CenMEDIC) in the United Kingdom.
The one-year Certificate program and two-year Diploma program are conducted as fully supported distance learning using downloaded modules, podcasts, library work, and moderated discussion forums. The three-year Master’s Degree program also includes a brief residential session and a dissertation.
