FAIMER Fellow Payal Bansal (PHIL 2007) has been named the new Managing Editor of Education for Health, a peer-reviewed journal of The Network: Towards Unity for Health. For 24 years, Education for Health has published work that focuses on “global models of health system integration and health professions education that lead to improved health care and health care delivery.” In addition to appointing Dr. Bansal as the new Managing Editor, the journal announced it will be moving its headquarters from Maastricht University in the Netherlands to the Maharahstra University of the Health Sciences (MUHS) in India.
Dr. Bansal joins FAIMER Fellow Arun Jamkar (PHIL 2004), MUHS Vice Chancellor, on the leadership board of Education for Health, while Jack Boulet, FAIMER’s Associate Vice President for Research and Data Resources, and William Burdick, FAIMER’s Associate Vice President for Education and Co-Director of the FAIMER Institute, serve as members of the international editorial board for the publication.
