The International Association of Medical Regulatory Authorities (IAMRA)<\/a> 7th International Conference on Medical Education was hosted by the Medical Council of New Zealand from November 11-14 in Wellington, New Zealand. The conference, titled Medical Regulation: Global Issues \u2013 Shared Solutions<\/i>, featured a number of presentations, panel discussions, and workshops on topics such as cultural competence, physician migration, medical education and training, public expectations, and physician regulation. As part of a program titled, The A, B, C of Regulating Doctors<\/i>, FAIMER President and CEO, John J. Norcini, Ph.D., gave a presentation on Resources to Help Regulators Understand Medical Schools<\/i>. Dr. Norcini\u2019s presentation focused on current resources, needs of medical regulators, challenges to creating and maintaining international resources, and strategies for the future.
