This new resource is the result of a March 2012 agreement to merge the organizations\u2019 respective directories\u2014FAIMER\u2019s <em>International Medical Education Directory<\/em> (<em>IMED<\/em>) and WFME\u2019s <em>Avicenna Directory<\/em>\u2014to produce a single comprehensive resource on undergraduate medical education worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>We are now pleased to announce the launch of the <em>World Directory<\/em> Subscription Service. This service allows regulatory authorities, researchers, and other interested subscribers access to download a wealth of information from the <em>World Directory<\/em> for an annual fee. Available information includes medical schools\u2019 years of operation, academic affiliations, and curriculum details.
