Health professions educators, administrators, and policy makers are invited to attend the National Conference on Health Professionals\u2019 Education (NCHPE) to be held December 12\u201313, 2009. The conference is being organized by the Department of Medical Education and Technology, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Pune, India. The theme of the conference is Good Teaching Practices: Sharing Best Practices in Teaching-Learning and Assessment. Continuing medical education sessions and preconference workshops related to this theme will be conducted December 10\u201311. The main conference will consist of poster sessions in a unique, interactive discussion format. The conference is supported by FAIMER and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Global Health Affairs, and will be held at the Yashwantrao Chavan Academy of Development Administration (YASHADA), Pune. Many FAIMER Fellows and faculty are expected to participate and present their educational innovation projects, and also serve as speakers, session leaders, and facilitators.
