We are pleased to announce the graduation of the inaugural class of the FAIMER-Keele Master\u2019s in Health Professions Education: Accreditation and Assessment program<\/a>! The FAIMER-Keele Master\u2019s Degree program is a blended learning course for anyone concerned with the delivery, management, or quality assurance of health professions who occupies or aspires to leadership roles at their institutions. After completing a residential session at Keele University last September, the Master\u2019s students have spent the past year finishing their dissertations under their advisors\u2019 supervision. Each dissertation was also reviewed by an independent marker, and the Keele University Examination Board met to review the results of the students\u2019 efforts on September 1, 2016.<\/p>\n

The course has emphasized throughout that critical application of knowledge and process to the local context is essential. The dissertations of the inaugural class addressed a wide range of applied research projects which were tuned to the local, often resource-limited, context.
