FAIMER will sponsor a representative of up to five selected projects to attend the 2015 Network: Toward Unity for Health (TUFH) conference in Gauteng Province, South Africa, September 12-16, 2015. This will be a joint conference of The Network: TUFH and the <a href=\"http:\/\/saahe.org.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">South African Association of Health Educationalists (SAAHE)<\/a>. Sponsorship includes air travel, hotel accommodation, and conference registration fee. Although registration for the conference is not yet open, watch the Network: TUFH website (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.the-networktufh.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.the-networktufh.org\/<\/a>) going forward for more information as it becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>The Projects That Work initiative, now in its third year, is sponsored by FAIMER as part of the annual Network: TUFH conference. This year the Projects That Work competition will showcase projects that have been successfully addressing missions related to the 2015 conference theme, \u201cEducation for Change,\u201d for three years or longer. The intent of the Projects That Work initiative is to recognize excellent projects that have succeeded beyond initial implementation and have had a significant impact on health, the community, or the school, as well as to encourage the development, implementation, and dissemination of more such projects.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for application has been extended to May 15, 2015.
