FAIMER is pleased to announce the selection of 17 winners of its 2015 Student Projects for Health competition. The Student Projects for Health competition\u2014supported by the Global Education in Medicine Exchange (GEMx)<\/a>consortium and FAIMER\u2014will be a feature of the joint conference of The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH) and the South African Association of Health Educationalists (SAAHE)<\/a> that will take place September 12-16 in Gauteng Province, South Africa. The theme of the conference is \u201cEducation for Change.\u201d Winners will be invited to attend the conference and present their projects. The award includes a travel grant of $2,000 and free conference registration.<\/p>\n

The Student Projects for Health competition recognizes students who have made outstanding contributions to projects that successfully promote community health and well-being, and was open to all undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in any course of study who have been participating in such projects.<\/p>\n
