To access the article, click <a href=\"http:\/\/ecahe.eu\/world-directory-medical-schools\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>World Directory of Medical Schools<\/em> (<em>World Directory<\/em>) was launched in April 2014 by WFME and FAIMER, as the result of a March 2012 agreement to merge the organizations\u2019 respective directories\u2014FAIMER\u2019s <em>International Medical Education Directory<\/em> (<em>IMED<\/em>) and WFME\u2019s <em>Avicenna Directory<\/em>\u2014to produce a single comprehensive resource on undergraduate medical education worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>World Directory<\/em> is freely available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wdoms.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.wdoms.org<\/a>. Those interested can <a href=\"https:\/\/search.wdoms.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">search<\/a> for medical schools listed in the directory. In June 2016, WFME and FAIMER announced the launch of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wdoms.org\/subscription\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>World Directory<\/em> Subscription Service<\/a>. This service allows regulatory authorities, researchers, and other interested subscribers access to download a wealth of information from the <em>World Directory<\/em> for an annual fee. Available information includes medical schools\u2019 years of operation, academic affiliations, and curriculum details.
