Competency-Based Medical Education

The FAIMER Competency-based Education (FACE) program is offered as a one-year virtual professional development program from Philadelphia, USA for health professions educators around the globe.

The pilot program was launched virtually in August 2021 and is currently being offered annually to faculty that teach in each of the FAIMER Regional Institutes (FRIs). The educational goal of the program is to train faculty from FRIs to implement and evaluate competency-based education in their regions.
