Jennifer Klapper, M.S.N., M.Sc., R.N., C.N.S.-B.C.
Jennifer Klapper is a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, and has worked with families dealing with catastrophic illness in clinic, in-patient, and home-based settings. She worked for the ALS Association doing mental health nursing and psychoeducational programming for 17 years, and before that held positions in clinically-applied research on Alzheimer’s disease, geriatrics, adolescent pregnancy, and oncology. Her early clinical work as a Registered Nurse was in a variety of specialties including oncology and cardiac intensive care. Ms. Klapper holds a B.S.N. from Binghamton University and both a Master in Medical Anthropology and Master in Psychiatric Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
