- Acquisition of expertise in health professions education
- Improved teaching skills
- Global professional community building, fostered by overlap in the residential sessions for first- and second-year participants, and interactive learning design
- Certificate in Health Professions Education, focused on accreditation and assessment, in which international standards, accreditation processes, quality assurance, and monitoring are integrated into study. Students may elect to continue in the distance learning program at their own expense to complete the Diploma or Master’s in Health Professions Education.
