FAIMER’s distance learning programs offer unique opportunities for health professions educators to receive advanced training in health professions education. These programs, developed and conducted in collaboration with international partners, aim to empower health professions educators with the knowledge and skills to take educational standards and practice to a higher level—to develop their own practice, to improve health professions education at their institutions and in their communities, and to help support advances in local health care.

FAIMER-Keele Master’s in Health Professions Education: Accreditation and Assessment

The FAIMER-Keele Master’s in Health Professions Education: Accreditation and Assessment program is a blended learning course for health professions educators who aspire to a leadership role in health professions education at their institution. Conducted in partnership with Keele University and The Centre for Medical Education in Context (CenMEDIC) in the United Kingdom, the program includes comprehensive training in all aspects of health professions education as well as training in advanced research design and leadership/management. Certificate and Diploma programs are also offered.

FAIMER-GMU Master’s in Health Professions Education

The FAIMER-GMU Master’s in Health Professions Education program is a two-year blended learning program aimed at developing leaders in health professions education who can transform education and support the development of health professionals for the 21st century. Conducted in partnership with Gulf Medical University (GMU) and The Centre for Medical Education in Context (CenMEDIC), it is the only program of its kind currently offered in the Gulf region. A Diploma program is also offered.
