Medical education programs are graded using the following scale: unsatisfactory, satisfactory, very satisfactory, and excellent.

The aspects evaluated are:

  1. Decision-making process and financial management
  2. Willingness and ability to conduct quality work
  3. Study environment
  4. Curriculum
  5. The quality of the clinical training
  6. Conditions for educational development

Evaluation process

Panels of external assessors, self-evaluation, site visits, and written reports.

Outcome/consequences of accreditation

Mandatory

If the program does not meet the standards, the agency has the authority to revoke the right of the university to award degrees.

Independent Entity
