FAIMER is recruiting for an Associate Director, Regional Institutes
The Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER) education program focuses on improving the health of communities in developing countries through capacity building in medical education. While the Philadelphia FAIMER Institute brings medical educators from developing countries to Philadelphia for the residential components of a part-time two year Fellowship, the FAIMER Regional Institutes carry out the same mission with the residential portions located in regions around the world. The Associate Director, Regional Institutes will help build the FAIMER Regional Institute program in developing countries in Asia, Africa and Central and South America. Experience in medical education, faculty development, international development is required and project planning experience is preferred. M.D. or M.B.B.S. required. Approximately 20% air travel.
