- A non-profit research organization that conducts studies on the supply, demand, use, and education of the health workforce, and collects and analyzes data to understand workforce dynamics and trends.
- Development Research Centre (DRC) on Migration, Globalisation and Poverty
- Research and publications on migration issues with different types and themes in the UK, Albania, Egypt, Ghana, and Bangladesh.

- Human Resources for Health (HRH) Global Resource Center
- A global library of human resources for health (HRH) on fundamental topics related to the HRH crisis and HRH research and practices, with a focus on developing countries.
- International Centre for Human Resources in Nursing (ICHRN)
- Undertakes and disseminates research on critical nursing HR issues. Analyzes and advocates nursing HR policy. Evaluates good HR management practice.
- The International Centre for Migration and Health (ICMH)
- A Swiss-based non-profit institution focusing on research, training, and policy advocacy in all areas related to migration and health.
- International Centre on Nurse Migration
- Collects, creates, and disseminates data and information on nurse migration. Tracks trends of global health care workforce migration, and analyzes and generates policy concerning nurse migration. Provides consultation and offers continuing education about nurse migration.
- International Labour Organization (ILO) - International Migration Programme (MIGRANT)
- A global knowledge base that provides advisory services to member states, promotes international standards, and provides a tripartite forum for consultations and technical assistance to constituents.

- A leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration, helping to ensure the orderly and humane management of migration, promote international cooperation on migration issues, assist in the search for solutions to migration problems, and provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need.

- The Midwest Center for Health Workforce Studies

Offers technical assistance to organizations seeking health workforce information.
