Funding, Travel, and Accommodations

Funding will be provided by FAIMER for the Fellow's travel, accommodations, and course materials. Funding will not be provided for the Fellow's spouse or other family members. (Incidental costs are the responsibility of the Fellow.)

Round-trip airfare will be provided for participants to travel from their homes to the United States, where they will stay at the Gregg Conference Center, located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Lodging, meals and leisure space will also be provided.

Participants should expect the program to occupy the majority of their time and will be required to participate in all scheduled activities. Any additional travel planned while in the U.S., should occur either before or after the program.

Participants may choose to extend their visit, at their own expense, to attend the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) annual meeting, which will be held in Washington, DC, on Nov. 2-7, 2007. More information about the AAMC annual meeting is available at www.aamc.org/meetings/annual/2006/start.htm.
