FAIMER Institute
Cost Sharing
Tuition for the FAIMER Institute is US$ 28,000. Generous financial support is available from FAIMER for those who are unable to pay the full cost. If you are accepted to the program, you will receive further information about how to apply for financial support.
Tuition includes:
Residential sessions (20 days in Year 1; 12 days in Year 2. Please see Curriculum and Schedule for exact dates.)
- Meals every day except Saturdays
- Costs for hotel accommodation during the residential sessions (arriving the day before and departing the day after the residential session)
- Local transportation to and from the Philadelphia airport
- Instructional materials and books
- Internet access
- Individual project mentoring for education innovation project and research papers
On-line distance learning sessions (11 months in Year 1; 11 months in Year 2)
- On-line education program
- Electronic library access
- Regular small group teleconferences
- Individual project mentoring for education innovation project and research papers
Academic credit
- By completing the FAIMER Institute, alumni earn academic credit toward a Master’s in Health Professions Education at several universities, such as Maastricht University in the Netherlands, the University of Illinois at Chicago in the United States, Stellenbosch University in South Africa, and FAIMER-Keele programs.
Tuition does not include:
- International travel costs to and from the two residential sessions.
