Claire Fialkov, Ph.D.
Claire Fialkov is a Consulting Partner for the Corporation for Positive Change and a core faculty member at the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. She teaches and writes about positive psychology and appreciative models of clinical and organizational training. A clinical psychologist for more than 25 years, Dr. Fialkov works to help identify and broaden sources of hope and resilience within organizations and communities.
Along with David Haddad, Dr. Fialkov is co-founder of Appreciative Action, a consultation practice that focuses on strengthening the capacity of organizations dedicated to creating a healthier and more civil world community. She and David use strength- and appreciative inquiry (AI)-based approaches to leadership, team building, evaluation, program development, and training to build organizational capacity. She consults to health care agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), educational institutions, and local community-based groups.
Dr. Fialkov is a member of the International Positive Psychology Association (IPPA), a Clinical Member and Approved Supervisor of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), and a member of the American Family Therapy Academy (AFTA).
